About this project
In Hawassa, Ethiopia, for many years, vulnerable children, women, and the elderly have been helped through the Faith Hope Love Family Service Association. We are supporting the education of children and youth. We continue to operate the resource center in the compound, with your support. We are also focused on improving the quality of life of the elderly, and women, and their dependents. In addition, we are addressing the issues of sanitation and personal hygiene. Family planning, and prevention of HIV/AIDs and other related diseases has also been included in our work. The school materials, food, medical coverage, and other items we are providing, are getting increasingly expensive. Every week people come to ask us for help, and the needs are so many.
Who can help them all? As always, GOD has remained faithful throughout. We want to thank Him, and all who have been praying for this ministry for the needy. This work would not be possible without your prayers, and lifesaving gifts of love.
Current Needs
Please help us to meet, or exceed our goal of $3000, to continue to provide for these impoverished families. Many have suffered increased hardship due to another year of the pandemic. The country is suffering as a whole, due to the armed conflict in the Tigray region. The difficulties caused by last year’s floods have improved, but, are still an ongoing problem. We continue to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ during these difficult times to give them hope. With your support we can continue to provide, food, blankets, as well as access to health care and education for these families in need.
Our Ministry
Faith Hope Love Family Service Association (FHLFSA) is a not-for-profit charity organization. The association is a registered, faith-based organization, founded by long-time missionary to Ethiopia, Airi Tuomi.
