About This Project:
Selah Place Inc. is an organization that will provide transitional housing and life skill training for expectant and new mothers. We will offer assistance to struggling mothers as they move from dependent, sometimes abusive relationships into independent, self-sufficient lifestyles.
At Selah, women will have a home to stay before and after they have their baby until they graduate into independent community living. We will assist clients in vocational training, counseling, life skills and child reunification if they have other children in CFS care.
Why give to this project?
There is a crisis in Manitoba and that is how many children are in out of home care placements. We can make an impact on this by fostering the parents, we need financial support from our community, churches to step forward and show their willingness in being a part of the solution and showing Christs love in volunteer opportunities and prayer. We need prayer, women need churches praying for them and their baby.
