About This Project:
Our vision: To raise leaders while restoring a town for sustainable Kingdom transformation.
Our mission: Restoring hope, equipping lives, building family through Christ-centered community care and community enterprise.
Our story: In 2006, a team of social entrepreneurs purchased the abandoned mining town of Bulembu in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) with a vision to restore it to a fully sustainable town providing full care to over 350 orphaned and vulnerable children, raising up the nation’s next generation of godly men and women leaders. Our children live in family homes with a caregiver, they receive a full education at Bulembu Christian Academy, health care at the Bulembu Clinic, and spiritual care through the Bulembu Community Church and various youth programs. The profits from Bulembu’s Community Enterprises such as the Country Lodge, Essential Oils, Honey, Water, Dairy, and Bakery flow into Bulembu’s sustainability fund for the care of the children and advancement of Bulembu’s vision.
