About This Project:
Bruce and Birgid are serving as “Family Mentors” in Jinja Uganda, at The Amazima School, starting January 2024. Your monthly, financial support will allow them to live on campus at The Amazima School – (a Christian boarding school in Uganda), and be actively present to the 16-20 teenage students in their care. Bruce and Birgid’s financial support will cover their monthly living, medical, travel and ministry expenses for the years they are serving students at The Amazima School.
Bruce and Birgid are passionate about each child’s spiritual, social, academic and personal development and are wanting to offer their students a mature, reliable and loving adult presence – mentors who believe in each student’s specific abilities and future.
Bruce and Birgid are heading to Amazima School in Uganda with the desire of building authentic relationships with the students, but also with their colleagues. The Amazima team has a joint mission of seeing each student fully embrace a living and active relationship with Jesus, receive an excellent education, and affect the families and communities from which they’ve come!
