Wawa and Zette are two elderly women who live on the island of La Gonâve. Due to food being scarcer than usual, these women came to our local partners looking for assistance. We are grateful for our Program Manager, Emerson Dalmas, who was able to purchase food with emergency funds provided and deliver it to these families. Wawa came down from the mountains and Zette, who is blind, came from the “Saline” which is the poorest area of the city. They were so thankful and wanted everyone who supports PiFò Haiti to know they are praying for them and thanking God for their help. With most supplies coming from the mainland, COVID-19 and the continued political instability in Haiti has made getting staples like rice, beans and oil scarce and expensive. Our local partners were able to identify this issue early in the pandemic and spread the word amongst the elderly in the community. We are so appreciative that we have local leaders who care about their community. (Wawa is in photo 1 and Zette is in photo 2)
Prayer Request
Two of our schools are in need of repairs. We don’t normally fund “construction” projects so we are praying that God would grant us discernment so we can come up with a plan/strategy.
Please pray for the government in Haiti. There is more disruption this month and next regarding the end of the term for the current president. The people desperately need a government that isn’t corrupt, one that cares about the needs of the people. (there are so many needs…)

We have had an amazing year transitioning from our old organization to GCF. The Lord has blessed us in every way possible. We stepped out in faith and entrusted GCF with our ministry. We are so very grateful for each person that has had a hand in helping us work alongside our partners in Haiti. You ALL play a role in what we are doing, even when you are here in Canada. I bring each of you with me when I go because without you I couldn’t do what I do. Together we are the hands and feet of Jesus. Thank you and bless you. May God continue to bless our work together to further His kingdom here on earth.
