About This Project:
Alabaster House of Worship exists to see Jesus loved & worshiped. Just like the women in Matthew 16 and Luke 7, we want to break open and pour out our lives for His pleasure. We want to see His Church equipped to fulfill the biblical commands to love God and love our neighbours as ourselves, as we minister from a place of first love (Rev. 2:4).
In December 2019, Jacquelyn and I (Randy) responded to a call from the Holy Spirit to spend our lives ministering at the feet of Jesus. After 10 years of pastoral ministry within a church context, God began to shift our focus towards a more missional approach. How can we see Jesus glorified within the context of our current Western / North American culture? How should the Great Commission be fulfilled in a context where many think they “know” about Christianity but haven’t had the opportunity to intimately encounter Jesus?
We want to fulfill the desire of the Father’s heart for His people to worship in Spirit and in truth (John 4:23). It should be noted that Jesus shared this intimate insight about His Father’s heart with the Samaritan woman at the well, with a non-religious woman at a communal gathering place. We are currently hosting public worship nights in “neutral” venues (coffee shops, etc) where we are inviting people into intimate encounters with God through worship & the word. We are praying into creative ways for God to reach our neighbours and community as well as hosting Worship Discipleship schools.
Through prophetic evangelism and encouragement, prayer ministry, healing, discipleship and teaching, we want to help raise up a generation who knows the love of Jesus and loves Him back with our whole hearts and lives.
