Change Destiny Organization

Through a personal initiative of Reverend Samson Karens and his wife, Alice, the organization began in 2011 in Naivasha, Kenya, when they reached out to street children in the lake town of Nakuru County. Today, he and his team travel back to the same streets in Naivasha to help change destinies — one vulnerable child at a time.

Nathan Betts

My deep desire and sense of call is to be a voice of hope, light, truth, and kindness to the questions that people have about life, purpose, and God. I aim to do this through speaking, writing, and personal interaction. I have written the manuscript for a book called Short Answers to Life’s Biggest Questions. I also work as a consultant to churches, schools, and other organizations on matters of culture and how the Christian perspective can meaningfully engage with them.

Arise-Canada

Arise - Canada wants to see churches joyfully and confidently caring for people in ways that lead to lasting transformation. We desire to guide churches to clarity and the tools that will empower them to support their neighbors tangibly, relationally, and spiritually. We plan to do this through a yearly conference in different parts of the country each year, a website with resources and a personal guide for church leaders.

Valley Light Institute

There are more than 3.6 million orphaned and vulnerable children in Kenya alone. Valley Light exists to provide a loving, Christ-centered home where all the needs of such children are met. We believe that each one of them is of infinite value because each bears the image of God. All our children were either orphaned – with both parents deceased – or abandoned.
