Merle works with El Candelero Foundation (The Candlestick) which was begun with the vision to improve quality of life for youth, family and community in Tarija, Bolivia. Each activity and project of this foundation is inspired and guided by the principles and values found in the Word of God.
I have had Cambodia on my heart since I was a little girl. May 2012 I began a one year internship with In His Steps International, I was stretched and I learned so much about the people of Cambodia, and about myself. In June 2012 I began my journey as volunteer staff with IHSI, this is where I write it down, little pieces of the amazing life God has called me to.
Bibles for China has helped provide Bibles for distribution throughout rural China since 2011. Our heart for China and our passion for the Bible has been the motivating force behind our work from the beginning.
The AIC Kajiado Girls School is located just south of Nairobi on the way to the Tanzania Border. This special program was designed in 1986 to rescue young girls from harmful cultural practices such as female genital mutilation (circumcision) and early marriage.
We partner with churches to help provide a quality and cost-effective facility for summer camps. The church should have a plan for continuing to disciple the campers following the week of camp. This approach allows the church to focus resources like time, energy, and finances on continuing relationships, instead of primarily the week of camp.

As a backdrop to the purpose of this ministry, Brian has received hundreds of opportunities to provide Christian prayer, pastoral care and mentorship to individuals, pastors, missionaries, and governmental leaders, among others.
