With a list of needs in hand, we organized a Heroic Family Mission and provided local families the opportunity to come together to provide clothes, furniture, food and gift items. The response was overwhelming. God filled a 15-passenger van two times over! This mother cried, more than once as she looked through the gifts given to her family.

She wrote afterwards, “the incredible amount of food we received meant I didn’t need to worry about groceries for a good number of weeks. This allowed me to get back on my feet financially as I was able to concentrate on paying bills. I was also able to give my kids an amazing Christmas with fun things to unwrap from a lot of the other donations.”

Our next zoom conversation with this mom and her kids was dramatically different than the previous ones.  They smiled. They laughed. They had a renewed sense of hope.

The teens asked their mom, “how can we ever pay them back for this?!”  She told them exactly what we would have said “They wouldn’t want us to pay her back, they would want us to pay it forward.”


Prayer Request:

The goal of our ministry is exactly that, helping families to pay forward the love that Jesus has shown them through His work on the cross. It is our desire to see families grow closer by giving them ways of working together to impact the people around them.  Please pray for our ministry so that we can continue to reach, teach, and equip more families to participate in the Great Commission together.
