About This Project:
Joelle (Loewen) and Christian Byren are working in Tarija, Bolivia discipling men, women and couples for the kingdom of God. There is a deep rooted lack of personal and Christ like identity due to communist government, religious and traditional culture. Even within the churches there is strife and division amongst each other and lack of discipleship as part of their programs.
I Joelle Byren, started Seeds of Purpose in 2018 with one mentor group and 7 women from 3 different churches. I focused on discipling them in their relationship with God and encouraging them to develop and serve using their gifts. Developing this ministry was always intended for building the body of Christ and serving all churches in Tarija. Today Christian and Joelle have 4 women’s groups, 1 men’s group and 1 couples group.
