Welcome to Partners In Hope Tanzania . It is our goal in ministry, through the leadership of Pastor Jason Mashalla, to fulfill the Great Commission, preaching the Word of God, making disciples and baptizing them in the name of the Father , Son and Holy Spirit.
Our purpose is to develop effective long-term solutions that strengthen a community’s ability to care for their widows, orphans and those in great need. Partners in Hope Tanzania, is devoted to the provision of nutritional and emotional support for abandoned children. These children are alone, and malnourished due to unwanted pregnancies, the death of the mother in childbirth or a mentally ill mother. It is our desire to re-unite these children with their parents or other family members through education and support. In developing long term relationships with these families, we can provide expertise, accountability, and encouragement for the whole person, thus building the entire community.
The other area where we minister is with the Albino population. Many albino Children ages 5 to 12 are locked in protective custody at a local school to keep them safe from the evil practices still being carried out. Cement walls that are 8 feet tall, barbed wire and an armed guard are their reality. The basic needs of food, blankets, school supplies and extras are often lacking as these little ones are not a high priority for the local government. We have the wonderful opportunity to provide for them and tell them of the love of Jesus in a most practical way.
Why give to this project?
The stigma of being poor is the same here as it is around the globe. Children face teasing, bullying, verbal abuse and the daily struggle of having enough to eat. Added pressure of obtaining fees for school and uniforms is a reality for most of the poor, and one that is rarely achieved.
Lack of clean drinking water is another key area that our community struggles with. Unable to fund local bore holes, many families travel many kilometers to obtain water from stagnant ponds. This in turn leads to water borne illnesses that this community has no way to cure. Health care or medicines to fix the problems are completely out of reach for most.
Like many ministries, Partners In Hope Tanzania has the challenge of inadequate funds for operating and development. It is our desire as God leads us to:
-continue to grow crops to feed those who cannot feed themselves
-drill wells so that clean water is available to all
-minister to the local community and construct a church building
-Raise awareness as to the importance of education as a way out of poverty.
-community awareness, and education surrounding HIV, child exploitation, women’s inheritance rights, and much more.
Would you consider joining us, as we work together to show Gods‘ love to the widows, the orphans and the poor.
