Peace Country Wilderness

PCWC has a vision to challenge youth physically, emotionally and spiritually in order to demonstrate what it means to be in relationship with God. This is done through horsemanship, riding, camping skills, building friendships and exploring the Christian faith through studying the Bible, and facilitating discussion regarding what is learned.

We believe that the wilderness is an ideal setting where one can break from the noise of life that often seems overwhelming. The Wild Kakwa area is some of the most pristine wilderness areas in the world. It is our great joy to guide people of all ages into a wilderness experience beyond what many have ever imagined; into an adventure full of laughter and adventure with friends new and old.

Beyond this, it is our greater joy to introduce campers, many for the first time, to the creator and sustainer of all life, to the God who is there and who cares for all his creation, and to his son Jesus who meant what he said when he spoke this promise: “Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
