Purpose: To contribute to the alleviation of poverty and to the survival of the marginalized & displaced community in Ethiopia, and to bring about change in the life, economic, and social capacity of the community women, orphan children, and HIV/AIDS victims.
Showing Christ International Ministry (SCIM) works to produce devoted fellow Christians who live their life for Jesus Christ and serve as life missionaries with full commitment to fulfil the mission that is given forward by the Almighty Lord.
We are working in a number of areas.
Investing in health: SCIM works hard to ensure the availability of medical services in rural communities. One of its objectives is to build hospitals and clinics with the help of its partners.
Prison Ministry: SCIM is committed to work with our brothers and sisters who are in prison. The ministry wants them to have opportunity to repent, receive God’s forgiveness, and be discipled in the Christian faith. SCIM offers its spiritual mission for these individuals to teach them of the hope and eternal life that comes through Jesus Christ.
Supporting Church Staff: SCIM supports church staff in rural communities where churches are often underfunded. The program has measures in place to determine the needs for each church.
