About This Project:

Shepherd’s Heart Ministry is an ‘Intensive’ Retreat Ministry for married couples in Christian leadership who need a place of sanctuary, healing and restoration. SHM is a “financially sponsored ministry” helping ministry couples move through their deep distresses.  We provide Biblical spiritual, emotional, practical teaching solutions in a confidential, safe environment.  Our private Sanctuary retreat locations are places where a couple is cared for and loved during a “Five Day Intensive” of specialized pastoral care.

When ministry leadership couples in distress come to us, they are also under financial stress and often without the financial ability to cover the cost of an Intensive.  Our challenge in this ministry is to raise the expense funds from donors to provide accommodation and meals without charge so that couples can receive the help they need. Therefore, Shepherd’s Heart seeks financial partners who care deeply about the spiritual, emotional, mental and marital health of ministry couples.  We invite them to partner with us as prayer warriors and in covering the costs of an Intensive.

In order to meet the challenges of the ministry, we recruit host volunteers to provide the hospitality needed for an Intensive.  These volunteers give of their time freely.  Pastoral Care Specialists and Counsellors raise their own support funds to cover their expense costs and stipend.  We recruit property owners to donate their facility as a Retreat Sanctuary for the exclusive use of SHM.  Donor financial gifts are critical for enabling this ministry.  We have seen many miracles of restoration and healing in ministry couples through the Sanctuary Intensive process.
