Christian education is vital for cultivating a Biblical worldview and equipping college students to become global disciples. It provides a strong spiritual foundation and fosters a sense of responsibility to share their faith worldwide, ensuring that they actively contribute to their communities and fulfill the Great Commission.
Purtătorii de Făclie (PdF), the vibrant and the youngest Torchbearers center, is located in the picturesque Carpathian Mountains of Romania near Brasov. Their core mission revolves around supporting local churches and sharing the message of Jesus’ resurrection with the Romanian people. PdF organizes a wide range of activities, including winter skiing and snowboarding retreats, summer camps, weekend retreats, and conferences. Additionally, they run evangelistic children’s clubs known as “Mici Exploratori” (Little Explorers). Moreover, their English-speaking Bible school provides both Romanian and international students with the opportunity to study God’s Word, foster spiritual growth within a Christ-centered community, and engage with local communities and churches through various outreach initiatives aimed at presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Their mission is to creatively and effectively communicate the Gospel to both youth and adults in Romania, with the aim of nurturing personal relationships with Jesus Christ and inspiring a heartfelt commitment to service.
