About This Project:

Wings of Shelter is a Christian (Faith-Based) program that provides a safe environment for clients to rehabilitate and restore themselves, after their rescue from Human Trafficking.  Clients are pre-screened to determine if they are a “fit” for the program parameters.  The goals are to ensure that clients stay in the program, until they can live independently, or until they can return to safe family members or other living arrangements.  We ensure that they are provided, through rehabilitation, the tools to live stable, healthy, safe, happy lives and have the skills for future Independence.  We refer to our program as a “Non-Punitive Program Model” or a “Neuro-Relational Program Model,” designed for minor female victims that have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), rescued out of Child Trafficking.  We address in rehabilitation, Body, Mind and Spirit of the victim.  This program is all about the victim’s needs.  We are licensed by DCF as CSEC Safe House (vetted by the FBI, as a child witness protection program and utilized by Homeland Security), group home and have two houses for the girls and live-in staff, caregivers.
