About This Project:
Word Made Flesh serves Jesus among those experiencing vulnerability around the world.
Word Made Flesh establishes worshiping communities among those experiencing extreme poverty, human trafficking, and social marginalization and oppression.
Word Made Flesh is made up of communities of people called and committed to serving Jesus among people who find themselves in some of the most vulnerable, poverty-stricken and oppressive situations in the world. Our communities are located around the globe in South America, South Asia, Eastern Europe, North America, and West and Central Africa. The ministry we do in our different communities responds to the particular needs and challenges in those locations. Currently, we work with children who live and work on the streets and with children who have been forced to fight in civil wars. We work with women and children who have been trafficked into the commercial sex industry. We work with families suffering from marginalization, unemployment, and lack of education. We work together to seek holistic restoration of the dignity of all people. In all our work we aim to infuse hope, empower others, and amplify the voices of those who are often not heard.
