In Winnipeg, we have been practically helping hundreds of newcomer refugee families in the last few years with furniture, jobs, coaching, food, as well as spiritual guidance.  Now with this COVID-19 crisis many of these families are being laid off from work or struggling to make ends meet.  Many may not even able to collect government assistance because they have not been able to secure full-time work, or they were working cleaning contracts for friends.
