Private schools educate 90% of students, but most Haitians cannot afford the tuition. Update The COVID-19 pandemic disproportionately impacted the developing world. While proactive measures minimized the disease’s spread, travel and gathering restrictions left many youth and families in Rwanda living hand-to-mouth at risk of going hungry. Beauty For Ashes Rwanda, through its parachurch youth ministry The Prayer House, came alongside many of these families. The organization provided a monthly stipend to vulnerable families, giving them a small income to purchase food and basic supplies with dignity.
