#GivingTuesday Overview We urgently need your help. This summer the pandemic hit Taiwan hard. Many adults were out of work and their children were out of school. The abuse rate skyrocketed and there was no place safe for many of these children. We turned away many vulnerable children as we currently have a care home setting which limits the numbers of children we are allowed to help. We started Twinkle Stars Preschool and Academy to provide holistic quality education that addresses four main areas (Intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual) to impoverished children. Twinkle Stars is situated at the outskirts of Rundu in an informal settlement called Tuhingireni Cuma where residents have no access to running water, electricity, to mention just a few. Rundu is the second highly populated town in Namibia and with the highest number of poverty-stricken families.
